Mumbai, Oct 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, made massive gains in Maharashtra’s Marathwada region, traditionally seen as Congress-NCP bastion. According to the election results of Maharashtra gram panchayat polls in the first phase, the BJP won the most number of rural bodies in all eight districts of Marathwada.
